What am i talking about ?

Since may, we have a new president. And it is name is Nicolas Sarkozy.
That is a short reminder ; if you ask me the name of the japanese first minister, i won’t be able to give you a damn name ; otherwise i’ll try with saying … “let”s say … Kawasaki ?” (because it sounds to be japanese :p )

So what is the french mentality ?

Our new president has “rich” friends whom invited him and his family in the US ; Wolfeboro, New Hampsire to be more accurate.

Anyone derserves vacations ; agreed ? And who care where you are going ; and anyone deserves privacy.

But in french papers and especially in the opposite party, it was :
“Sarkozy in vacation in the US in a 30.000 usd a week villa”

It is like in the US, we do not ask to one what is his religion or if one votes for democrate or republican ; in France, you kinda feel “guilty” because of making notmoney but BIG money !

By the way, it is the place to be for vacation because of the rate us$ vs Euro !

Maybe with his meeting with Bush on sat, perhaps Sarkozy will try to introduce … Renault into the US market (ironic)

Yeah it is been a month again ; my life is far away to be excited ; hope it is gonna be different in a couple of weeks / months ; working on something … quite unexpected ^_^ Maybe i’ll tell you more if it really works out.

Back to the topic.

Why “4 in a row” ?

Those past weeks, i had been to the ballot box again !

Who’s got my vote ? Certainly not the one who said yesterday :

“They were not credible ; it was not a secret for anyone” (about ideas the candidate run for during the campaign).
Yes because that candidate claimed OUT LOUD for months : “35hours for everyone, minimum salary @ 1500€” and now at the end of both major campaigns, that same candidate said : “they were not credible”.
Pfffffffffff
Seriously ; people voted for her because of her ideas. And now she is saying she ran for something she didn’t really believed in ! hahaha
I assume how election cards’ of those folks will end up ; probably like mine years ago hahaha

“Hey folks, vote for me and my ideas”
I pass.
“Hey folks, i got you !!”    hahahah

And today she’s got a meeting with the president (and ex-opponent) and she’s still “got balls” to open her mouth and  give her opinions.

Honestly, as far as “her” ideas were not credible, she is not credible at all !

I do believe it is.

Some said that “yes it is greener elsewhere until you find out that it is fake grass”.

By the way, it is not only depending on “how elsewhere is” but it also depends on “how you can adapt yourself on the new environment”.

If you know me or if you read some of my previous billets, you might have noticed that i’m not good about accomplishing civic rights since i last voted somehow in 2000.

I’m aware that i have civic rights toward the Republic, but the Republic also have duties towards its people ; and since i had stopped to believe in the Republic … that is how my 2001 election card ended up in an envolopp destinated to the President’s cabinet !
I had a response for less but for a such uncivic act, no response at all !

As you might know, it will be the end of our presidential time out here on sunday.
By sunday night we will have known who will be our new president for 5 years.
I assume you have heard about it since a woman could access to the suprem post of the Republic.
After Tatcher in UK in the 80′, Merkel in Germany nowadays, Royal (O_o) in France ?

Honestly ? I do not hope so !

Maybe you have heard that it is presidential campaign time out here ; actually D-80 (or so) (actually the one i currently might want :p )
Honestly, i have stopped to vote and get “involved” in all of this ; for me, they are all clowns ! No one is better than others ; they are all the same. WORDS AND ONLY WORDS ! None learn from their mistakes ! …… after 30 / 40 / 50 (F-I-F-T-Y !!!) years in politics, they learnt n-o-t-h-i-n-g at all !!
So for the incoming election, i assume i’m gonna vote …… for fun !

What does that mean ?

I could simply not vote or if i do, white vote could be an option however it is not fun enough.

Vote for the first “woman president” just to see how different it will be. Just listen to her STUPID husband ! It is the kind of guy who see shit in from of his door and is gonna walk in ! A total “has been” guy.
About herself as a president ? I assume it could be fun even if i do not believe a second in her capabilities.

How about the dwarf ? I have to assume that he is a pretty good speaker ; he could be a “sect” leader and make you believe anything coming out of his mouth ; you are damn sure that you have 5 fingers but he is gonna make you believe you finally got 6 ! ^_^
Just wanna vote for him to see if he is gonna keep all his words. Of course he won’t such as all previous presidents. (see part right above)

And then the second man in 2002.
It might be the most irresponsible vote “for fun”. But by curiousity, for 5 years, why not to make others open wiiiiiiiiide theirs eyes …… to cry (optional : to realize how wrong they were).

The fourth man over 10% might be the most responsible choice at the moment.

PS : In the US constitution it is possible to empeach the president ; why is Bush the Kid still here ?

A week ago, one of our most famous singer decided to leave the country.
Johnny Hallyday (the one moving out) is gonna spend 6 months and a day in Gstaad, Switzerland for … vacationning.

Actually not really vacationning. He is moving out there to … pay less income tax hahaha

It is been a long time that i wanted to write about the incoming tramway in Paris !!

Honestly, WHAT IS IT FOR ?!?!?

Paris has one of the most dense subway and bus network !
Everyday, subways + buses are used by millions and millions travellers while the incoming tramway will be used by …. 100.000 (only !! ) …. parisians !

The city did a survey years ago and the result was 69% of parisians (one lives right in Paris not in the sub. of Paris) were PRO. Less cars, less pollution, ….. what did they really expected from a such survey ? It is well known that people living in Paris do not own a car since they already daily use the RATP network (subway and bus).

Why am I mad at the Tram ?

LOOSING HOURS AND HOURS BEING STUCK IN THE TRAFFIC !!!!!!

Years ago, bus and cars used the same lines. During rush hours, buses were stuck in the traffic. Then the city did some “bus lines” (like “car pool” in CA). That was “clever”. But those lines “grew up like mushrooms” (a french idiom which means “nothing a day, plenty the day after”). It was “understandable”. Just had to avoid rush hours and it was fine.
Now with the Tram, what a PAIN !!!! Currently it is only in the south of Paris. Therefore, if you live in the southern sub, the Tram is like a Gate ! Hours to get in Paris and hours to get out ! Being stuck everyday at any time !! Rush hour alllllllll day long !!
Less pollution ? Let me doubt ! Need hour to cover a few kilometers.
Less cars ? Let me doubt ! People who has to use their cars will always use their car !

I assume i won’t have any problem with the Tram if parking price was at a fair rate ! Unfortunately, it is not !
1 metro ticket = 1.40€ (you need at least 2 for a round trip)
1 hour in a parking lot = 2.50€ (at least you have to pay 5€ because you are always away for at least 1 hour and 2 minutes ! (yep ; all hour begun is due !!!!! The government has to do something ; ONLY pay for what you used ! )

And instead of using millions and millions (billions ?) to built a brand new Tram line, the city better had to modernize and make safer its underground network !

You might have heard about the huge “chaos” out here lately lol
Anywhere you are from, check any of your local newspapers and i’m sure you might find at least an article about France haha

I have not much to say about the situation bc i don’t feel to be concerned (i’m kind of “out of age” hahaha)
Some might say how selfish i am. I’m just gonna reply by “I don’t care a bit and just keep in mind that one has its own story”. Plus i DO believe that grass is greener elsewhere !

But i have to admit it is a completely insane situation.

A side, our prime minister does not want to give up on his “idea” - a new law about a new job contract destinated to youth under 26 ; it is called CPE which stands for “Contrat Premier Embauche” (it could be something like “first job contract”) - and the others hands, protestors (mainly students) want him to give up on his “idea” (CPE).

Our Prime Minister invited any federations / syndicates in his office for a debate. Unfortunately, all declined the minister’s invitation.

Reason : as far as the CPE is not abandoned, no discussion and debate are possible. Pfffffff lol

In a side, the minister does not want to give up and in the other side, students do not want a debate if the minister still works on the CPE.

So is there any possible issue ? O_o
Both “want” to resolve the situation but both are “extermists” in their choice.

“Unfortunately”, the only one possible issue will be :
The prime minister will have to give up his idea ! O_o

Why quotation quote used for Unfortunately 2 lines above ?

All ex-ministers who tried to setup a new law or whatever had to give up because of …. protestors !
(the same ministers who are also part of the protestors now ; remember about a previous billet ? The one who failed earlier always have to open their mouthes to give lessons !! pffffff )

Like said above, i have no clear opinion about the CPE itself but i feel deeply sorry that as far as anyone tries to “move their ass” in this country, just the fact to have think about “anything new”, make it to be a “bad” idea :/
Is there any possible re-new in this country ? Or the only kind of acceptable re-new is project such as decrease our business time from 35 hours (!!) to 30 hours with un-changed income ?!?!?

By the way, all those manifestations in Paris made me got an extra weekend ; maybe i have to finally thanks them Kind of impossible to get a ride in the heart of Paris :/ unless loosing hours and hours in traffics !

“Gauche” ou “Droite” (Left or Right, our 2 mains parties), it won’t make any difference ! lol
Both had had their chances and none had done anything !

What the funniest about politics ?

Ex-ministers always have to give lessons to a current minister !!
That is completely stupid !

Ex-ministers led for years and they had done nothing. If they were good enough, those same ex-ministers should still be here !! but they are not ! …….. which means they did a bad job !

It makes me laugh again during a debate opposing an ex-minister and a current minister.
The ex is 100% sure and convinced that his ideas are good ! His ideas are the one which will work out !! But when they were leaders, ….. nothing lol

Pffffffff !

In the incoming (maybe ) 6th Republic, if it was up to me (hahahaha), one might have one and only one chance !!
If they lost their chance, they would have to give up their politic’s life !!!!!!
Ok it might seems to be a little bit extremist but i’m pretty sure that way any ministers will have more pressure on themself !!
Everyone knows that the best job ever is done when you are keyed up

Currently, they came and left and came again and left again ! Pfffffffffffff

That is completely unfair since as being a simple “people” after a personal bankrupt, you cannot create right away a new business or borrow money !
The court said you had your chance, now you have to wait a couple of years to try again !

IT MIGHT BE THE SAME FOR POLITICIANS !
If you loose, play again later !!

(the stupidiest again is high school students who are thinking about knowing ………. how to run a business !!!! Those same high school students teaching how to run a business !!
What World are we living in ?!?! That is completely insane !!)

I would like to say : “Stop dreaming and come out and VISIT the REAL WORLD” O_o

What do you think the previous itinerary is ?

Me preparing a future journey ? Don’t be silly, i don’t have a million euro so setup a such trip for now ; but someday who knows :p
Plus if it was the case, it might me an on land trip not an out land lost on the water ^_^

Seriously, it is our aircraft carrier named Clemenceau “last” journey. “Last” because since it retires from being a warship in 1997, it travels all around the world
