I do believe it is.

Some said that “yes it is greener elsewhere until you find out that it is fake grass”.

By the way, it is not only depending on “how elsewhere is” but it also depends on “how you can adapt yourself on the new environment”.

If you know me or if you read some of my previous billets, you might have noticed that i’m not good about accomplishing civic rights since i last voted somehow in 2000.

I’m aware that i have civic rights toward the Republic, but the Republic also have duties towards its people ; and since i had stopped to believe in the Republic … that is how my 2001 election card ended up in an envolopp destinated to the President’s cabinet !
I had a response for less but for a such uncivic act, no response at all !

As you might know, it will be the end of our presidential time out here on sunday.
By sunday night we will have known who will be our new president for 5 years.
I assume you have heard about it since a woman could access to the suprem post of the Republic.
After Tatcher in UK in the 80′, Merkel in Germany nowadays, Royal (O_o) in France ?

Honestly ? I do not hope so !

If you read some of my previous posts (like this one for instance), you might know how much i don’t care a bit about Gauche or Droite (our 2 main political parties like Democrate and Republican in the US of America). I just care about ideas and candidates’ projects for their 5 years mandate.
As said above, i’m not good about accomplishing my civic rights. But for once, i can catch a brief glimpse of gleam of hope !

What does that mean ?

For a long long time to not say always, the only one issue to not hate (this word could be “too much” or inappropriate but i assume my choice because it does fit how i felt and feel) the Republic was to be away of the Republic.
Silly ugh ?
But believe me, the only time i was “proud” to be french was when i was … away, out of the country !
Not proud on “being” but proud on “appearance”. (<< lol me saying that ^_^ ; hope you caught the idea).

“Appearence” ; i think it is all the problem about our country.
From outside, when you just have an overview, it is perfect ; the most beautiful or whatever of the world. The best place to be …

Hahaha ; i would like to anticipate your current reflexion or critic about the part above.
You are might thinking about : “hey man, people from poor countries would like to be in a such country”.
Ok you might be right. But when you live in a such country and when you hear all day long that it is a “powerfull” country, the 5th, it is unworthy !

Like a farmer plants seeds day after days to collect what he planted, the worker works all day long but at the end, he is getting … … poorer !
Is anyone with a minimum of reflexion can accept that fact ? I doubt !

The one who claims out loud for years that they run for the people and not themselves made me being … “individualist“. I was not but i learnt to be thanks to those … pseudo-communists ! (if you stop here for the first time, you might “shoot” me and probably wonder what i’m talking about, aren’t you ? ;) )

So let’s vote again ! and give a chance to “the good speaker” a chance ; if he fails, let’s keep working on looking an “elsewhere where grass is greener” !
