:The Flag House and Star-Spangled Banner Museum:
Journey No Comments »Why is it called The Flag House ?
It was a flags maker place. And that is the place where Mary Pickersgill sewed the huge (12.7m x 9.1m ; 42feet x 30 feet) Star-Spangled Banner.
What is the Star-Spangled Banner ?

That is the first 15 stripes and 15 stars flag. (1 stripe / 1 star = 1 State)
It is been named by Francis Scott Key after Fort McHenry attack by British in 1814. (More details coming soon with Fort McHEnry Album ^_^ )
That is a neat place to visit. It is done within an hour.
At first you have a 15 minutes movie telling you about Baltimore under attack by Bristish (those Red suits <<<< lol). Then you have a guide leading you a tour in Mary’s house, the genuine house with genuine stuffs in there.
