Journey, Photo No Comments »Lately I was interested in printing my own pictures. Those pictures I took, watched once and forgot^_^.
So i thought it might be neat to print most of them and pin them all arround my bedroom ![]()
There are none of them right now but I’ll work on it
My first picture here in my blog.
Basically, this is my computer-wallpaper for years now.
Yes it is a black and white pictures. I guess you understood now that I like b&w pictures more than colored one ;).
Plus a b&w picture as a wallpaper is neater since winXP has a color frame. It just created like a contrast. Since then, I cannot use a color wallpaper anymore
I took this picture in Saigon, Vietnam in September 2001. My first time there since 1992 (my real first time and last time since though).
You have to know that Saigon has 11 districts (I’m not sure). The “heart” of Saigon, the 1st district (my second home :D) has many “buildings” (not so high but at least it is “modern” buildings). From the first district, you can take the ferry to accross the Saigon river to reach Thu tiem peninsula. And ….. oh my !!!!
You just leave a “modern” world for a country side. But both are just separated by one river and a 2 minutes long ferry trip !! A such contrast was really amazing !!
Crowded, noisy, stinky (motorcycles smoke) but “clean” in a side and almost desert, silent, “fresh air” and dirty (durst) the other side. The people are also different.
camera : an unknown Nikon FM3 (not mine) + Nikon Ais f:1.8 / 50mm
film : kodak T-Max 400 developped with kodak T-Max chimical
scan : an old Epson film scanner GT-2000 (or so) ; works only under W98 !!!
